The Tropf Blumat Set of 12 contains everything needed to create a reliable, fully automatic watering system for up to 12 individual plants.

Each Tropf Blumat sensor monitors the moisture level around the plant and releases water only when the growing medium begins to dry. This allows every plant to be watered according to its individual requirements, helping maintain more consistent moisture without relying on timers or fixed irrigation schedules.

The system can be supplied from a suitable water tank, so it does not require a permanent mains water connection. It operates without electricity, pumps or electronic controllers, making it a simple and dependable option for indoor grow rooms, greenhouses, balconies and container gardens.

The kit is ready to assemble and includes the components needed to set up a watering system across an area of approximately three metres. Additional Tropf-Blumat sensors, distribution drippers and pipework can be added later if you want to expand or adapt the system.

Why Use the Tropf Blumat Set of 12?

Maintaining consistent moisture is one of the most important parts of growing healthy plants, particularly in living soil and biologically active growing media. Tropf-Blumat automatically responds as the soil dries, supplying water gradually until the selected moisture level has been restored.

Unlike timer-controlled irrigation, the system responds to changes in plant water use caused by growth, temperature, humidity and light levels. This reduces the need for frequent manual watering and helps avoid the large swings between overly wet and overly dry conditions that can restrict root activity and biological performance.

The Set of 12 is a practical starting point for growers who want to automate several individual pots while retaining the flexibility to extend or modify the system later.

Please Note

When operating the system from a gravity-fed water tank, the tank must be positioned above the Tropf-Blumat sensors to provide sufficient water pressure. Installation requirements will vary depending on the length and layout of the irrigation system.
