The Tropf Blumat Set of 40 contains everything needed to create a reliable, fully automatic watering system for up to 40 individual plants.

Each Tropf Blumat sensor monitors moisture around the plant and releases water when the growing medium begins to dry. This allows each plant to be watered according to its individual requirements, helping maintain consistent moisture without relying on timers or fixed irrigation schedules.

The kit includes a pressure reducer for connecting the system directly to a mains water supply. This provides continuous water availability without the need to refill or elevate a water tank, making it particularly suitable for larger grow rooms, greenhouses and container-growing systems.

The system operates without electricity, pumps or electronic controllers. Additional Tropf Blumat sensors, distribution drippers and pipework can also be added if you want to expand or adapt the system later.

Why Use the Tropf Blumat Set of 40?

Maintaining consistent moisture is essential for healthy roots and efficient nutrient uptake, particularly in living soil and biologically active growing media. Tropf-Blumat automatically responds as the growing medium dries, supplying water gradually until the selected moisture level is restored.

Unlike timer-controlled irrigation, the system responds to changes in water demand caused by plant growth, temperature, humidity and light levels. Each sensor controls its own plant, allowing plants with different water requirements to receive different amounts of water within the same irrigation system.

With capacity for up to 40 plants and a pressure reducer for direct connection to mains water, this kit offers a practical solution for growers who need reliable irrigation across a larger growing area.

The included pressure reducer is designed to reduce mains water pressure to a suitable operating level for the Tropf-Blumat system. Always follow the supplied installation instructions and check all connections for leaks before leaving the system unattended.
